                        Welcome to the official site of the Consulate General of Lebanon in Montreal.  Our site has many purposes.  First, it is meant to be a tool of information that allows Lebanese citizens in Quebec to accomplish and finalize their procedures, quickly and accurately.

                        The site has also another objective, destined to all travelers planning a trip to this magical country called Lebanon.  They can find many links that help them prepare their visit, and make it an unforgettable experience.

                        Through time, Lebanon was given many names: it was called the land of milk and honey, the land of the Sun and even the land of devotion, the cradle of great religions.  Over the centuries, our country witnessed the succession of many civilizations; the priceless treasures of which are still proudly standing as a historic and stubborn proof.  Since ancient times, the beauty of Lebanon has inspired many great artists and writers.  Until now, and with the diversity of its multi-confessional society, geography and traditions, Lebanon is a marvelous perfume that lives in the depth of each Lebanese heart, and stays eternally in the memory of every visitor.
